My Peony flowers are in full bloom just in time for Memorial Day weekend.  When I was growing up Memorial Day weekend was a prescribed ritual of gathering Peonies from my Grandfathers yard and heading to the cemetery to decorate the grave sites of relatives.

And here is a photo of Day 1 of my garden this year.  I planted:

12 tomato plants (5 varieties), green beans, snap peas, zucchini, cucumbers,  peppers,  rosemary, cilantro, basil. I’ve still got some room left in the garden..but will leave it for the cucumbers to take over.

I get asked a lot about FIOS internet service. I love it…great speed for downloading and uploaded.

We went shopping at David’s Bridal in Freehold today for Emma’s prom dress.

This was the dress she picked out.

This was my favorite on her….but as you can tell by her face, she didn’t like it.

We visited the Penn State Altoona campus this weekend.  The photo above is of the campus reflecting pool. Emma will be attending the school next fall.
